Have you visited Clackmannan’s community garden yet? Located behind the Town Hall, the secluded spot is a lovely place to relax and unwind.
Butterfly Garden
The garden’s transformation began in 2017 thanks to the hard work of a group of dedicated volunteers, under the umbrella of CDT on land leased by the Town Hall Trust. Permission was given by Clackmannanshire Council and, with assistance from the Town Hall Trust, a grant from Central Scotland Green Network was awarded.
The name was chosen by public vote from a list of suggestions by the primary school’s Garden Gang, who have enjoyed growing seedlings and planting them out.
Visitors are very welcome to enjoy the garden when it is open, and anyone with an interest in gardening is warmly invited to join us on Wednesday mornings.
